Having never really used a camera before, I bought my first camera on a whim late in my professional career while working in the pharmaceutical industry. I’ve always had an artistic eye and have been a portrait drawing artist for many years utilizing charcoal, graphite and pastels.
But still, this was a whole new artistic expression in a format I had no knowledge of…and I immediately was hooked after I bought my first camera.
I’m fortunate enough to live in the incredibly beautiful state of Colorado where there are so many natural subject matters to capture, and being an outdoors person who loves nature I quickly gravitated toward landscape and wildlife photography as my passion.
As I’ve explored my world and embraced the process of learning a new skill to compliment my artistic vision, I’ve been blessed to witness so many awe-inspiring scenes. But what I’ve also learned is that sharing my visions is very fulfilling in hopes that I touch others with a sense of wonder and appreciation for the same beauty I see though my lens.
Thank you for spending your precious time viewing my work. I hope it inspires your soul.
